Oh no, how awful. Sounds like it was just the length of time though cos my hair is fine. It’s amazing how many different opinions there are as the lady that did mine was against using wax because she said it was messy and took longer. I think both methods are good if they work. I get a lot of little pulls and loops in mine which annoy me and I haven’t figured out a good method of tidying them yet. How does the gel work?

Hi,
I had my original dreads done using perming solution, and they shrunk to a third of the length of my hair, and went really dry and horrible. I think the hair dresser just left the solution in way too long and so it wrecked my hair completely. I then had them cut off, and extentions put on. They have grown out alot now and my real natural dreads are great – I use the Locksteady Gel to keep em neat.:)

Finally some dreads done using perming solution that actually look good! There is a lot of talk online against it, so its great to see there’s another side to the story…thanks..x..
