I was just discussing with Mat this morning the sending of additional visa documentation to the Visa Office in support of our residency application when, looking up from the computer where he was checking his emails, he said that he didn’t think we would need to worry about that as our visas had been granted.
WOOH HOO!!! We both did a little woop and a skip and then re-read the email to make sure we were correct. Yes, as of the 13th May we are both now permanent residents of Australia! Grats to us! Who says the 13th is unlucky?

Big congrats to the pair of you. Good to see your site improving it’s Alexa rank as well, if the trend from the last month continues, you’ll be in the top 300k soon! Mind you, it claims that 78.9% of your traffic comes from Kazakhstan, and I’m guessing your AWStats don’t exactly back that up.
Anyway, going off-topic there, now you have permanent resident status, are your officially allowed to complain about the damn pommies coming over and diluting your culture

AWStats is a package that tells you some information about your website’s visitors. We went over it a long time ago when you were over here, and I’ve skyped the results to you once or twice. Anyway, I’ve e-mailed April and May’s info to you. ZIPped up, and the graphs aren’t coloured in, but should work ok.
Wow, just had a quick shufty at April’s stats. It’s really interesting. You can see what your most popular posts are, how long the majority of traffic was looking at your blog for, all sorts. Though your right bout traffic from Kazakhstan, this does not back up Alexa – silly Alexa. Wonder why it’s so inaccurate?
Because Alexa only shows you the statistics of people who have the Alexa toolbar installed. Otherwise, they’d have no way of knowing age, race, education, children, browsing location (home/work) etc.
btw, You may want to look at your theme, as the comment box has no border around it, at least for me. The black background of other comments just continues into the comment entry area.
Ah, I was just about to ask what you were on about but now I’ve gone to reply I think I see what you mean. Does it only happen when you go to reply? I didn’t notice when I was at home on Firefox but now I’m at work on IE7 and it appears to be doing it. Saying that, I see you’re on Firfox so maybe I’m just unobservant. Tis a minor thing. I know I’m doing a web design course but I doubt my new skills will stretch as far as fixing this. Worth a look at some point though I spose.
